Antoine Malassagne, Champagne A. R. Lenoble, on the current assemblage with the harvest 2015 in the Champagne Library Report

No question: Champagne A.R. Lenoble is one of those maisons which have made one of the the biggest leap forward in the past decade. The product range was realigned, and especially the non-vintage Brut was the focus on an continuously improvement.

Also Lenoble’s Chardonnays fro the grapes of the Granc Cru Chouilly are one of the best blanc de blancs.

Important investments were made in the cellar technology: Next to modern steel tanks one can see almost 200 small oak barrels;  to avoid woody taste in the wine, there used only in the second and third year, later for reserve wines.
