Champagne Bollinger La Grande Année 2014 und Various Questions

2014, in Champagne, comfortable crop yields, but not every house presented a millésimé.

This Bollinger surprises: While earlier editions were a bit old-fashioned - according to the motto: the British connoisseur has liked us for 60 years anyway - this La Grande Année 2014 boasts an unusually nice portion of acidity and excitement in addition to its expressive fruit.

Here a Pinot thunderstorm unfolds in the glass, as one wishes before Christmas.

Is it perhaps because this composition has significantly more Chardonnay - 39 percent - than usual - 30 percent? Or is it due to a relatively high proportion of Pinot from the northern Montagne de Reims

This wine raises many questions, and I'm sure: It can't stay with this one empty bottle.
